Roman where did you find that? It looks EXACTLY like an exam question I would have had. (Sad thing is I can solve it too, even without the elephant)

haha, jay's getting all sentimental... truth is I do miss Boston, there's a lot to do in SF, but it's still taking a while to get used to and know it. A lot of memories in Boston and Provi!

shu-yi- see you in a couple weeks, jay - a couple months! 14 days until schools over...

So schools winding down here. Got less than 1 week of classes left, only 1 final, and 2 projects left. It's really starting to sink in that this is almost done. 2.5 years, 21 classes, and untold thousands of dollars all behind me. The hard part is not letting myself get too complacent and slack off, which is just what my lazy brain is telling me to do. I've got a job waiting for me out west, my GPA is high enough to be untouched by whatever grades I get this semester... why not just cruise to the finish line? Very tempting. But I'll still work as hard as I've always done, not sure why =D

And the ankle is out of the boot, and I'm just walking around like nothing ever happened. You could still clearly see the break in the X-ray last tuesday, but the doc said it's been 5 weeks, and if it was gonna move, it would have moved by now. So all that's left is for the soft tissue damage to heal. So I'm walking around, stretching it out, and generally not trying to look like a gimp. But no martial arts for me, at least for a month. =( Gotta resist the urge to kick things...

And I'll miss you Shuyi, and all the other people I'm leaving behind here on the east coast. It will always be where I came from, the old familar stomping grounds I've spent the last 32 years wandering around. But I'm damn excited to get out of here and not be a local for a while. Plus the weather over there is SO much nicer. =D Which means that getting a motorcycle is now a serious option.

And most of all I'm looking forward to having my life back. Doing 21 classes in 2.5 years is not fun, and definately sucks up alot of free time. Although I will probably have the shock of the 40 hour work week again, but my weekends will be FREE again! Time to et back to all the hobbies and activities I've put on hold these past years.

Looking forward to the future, West coast here I come!

Forwarded to me...
How many 5 year olds could you take on at once?

The details:

- youre in an enclosed area, roughly the size of a basketball court. there are no foreign objects.
- youre not allowed to touch a wall.
- when youre knocked unconscious, you lose. when they are all knocked unconscious, they lose. once a kid is knocked unconscious, that kid is "out."
- The pool will be 50/50 in terms of gender and will have no discernable abnormalities in terms of demographics, other than they are all healthy.
- the kids receive one day of training from hand-to-hand combat experts who will train them specifically to team up to take down one adult. you will receive no training.
- there is no protective padding for any combatant other than the standard-issue cup.
- the kids are motivated enough to not get scared, regardless of the bloodshed. even the very last one will give it his/her best to take you down.
